A man was killed with several gunshots on the sidewalk of Avenida Henrique Duque Estrada Meyer, also known as Estrada do Ambaí, in the Ambaí neighborhood, in Nova Iguaçu, Baixada Fluminense.
The crime occurred at 2:15 pm this Friday (29) and was recorded by a security camera installed in a market opposite the location.
In the images, a man in a black shirt was on the sidewalk when a blue car passed by and entered the street next door. Three men with rifles got out of the vehicle and shot the victim, who died at the scene. One of them continued shooting, even with the victim on the ground.
An elderly woman who was close to the man noticed the suspects’ actions and became desperate. She was almost run over by a motorcyclist, who swerved.
The images will be analyzed by the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station, which is investigating the motive for the crime and the identification of the suspects.
