Chak Jhamra: Tragic incident of murder in 186 RB Dhilum — Regional dispute turns into bloodshed
Murder incident occurred as a result of a long-standing hostility in 186 R B Dhalam of Chak Jhamra, in which Waheed Babar Dhillon, nephew of Mubashir Iqbal Dhillon was shot dead blindly.
According to sources, Mubashir Iqbal Dhillon Group claimed that Waheed alias Koka Dhillon and Hamza Dhillon Group attacked Mubashir-Iqbal's camp. Gunmen who came on two vehicles opened blindly firing, resulting in Waheed Babar Jan Baq and a gunman. He got injured.
CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing the attackers openly firing.
Sources say the dispute between the two groups had been going on for six months, but all efforts to mediate respected personalities in the area have failed.
Heavy police personnel have been deployed in the area, while the process is underway to arrest the accused.
