Tijuana, BC.-A Municipal Police officer repelled an armed attack in the Cañón Johnson neighborhood.
The incident occurred at 11:56 a.m. yesterday, on Cañón Johnson Avenue, when an individual wearing checked clothing and blue jeans fired his weapon at one of the two officers, wounding him in the arm.
Likewise, a member of the Municipal Police shot the attackers several times.
Subsequently, the officer was transported in his Tacoma vehicle to the Isstecali in El Mirador to receive medical attention.
