The owner of an automotive workshop was the victim of a hitman , in broad daylight, in Chiclayo, Lambayeque region . Video surveillance cameras captured the contract killer, disguised as a construction worker, outside the establishment. At approximately 9:00 am on July 5, he approached the owner and, without saying a word, fired shots.

The victim was identified as Alejandro Pérez García, 44 , who was a victim of extortion. However, he refused to pay what the criminals requested. He was taken to the Lambayeque Regional Hospital in an emergency, but a corpse arrived. He leaves behind two children, one aged 16 and the other aged 14, as well as his pregnant wife. The Police arrived at the scene to initiate the pertinent proceedings.
