Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot during a public speaking event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. According to university officials, the incident occurred shortly after midday while Kirk was addressing students and community members as part of his “American Comeback Tour.”

Authorities said the gunfire appeared to come from an elevated position near the outdoor venue. Witnesses described a sudden burst of panic as attendees rushed for safety and emergency crews arrived on the scene.
