A father was mercilessly murdered in front of his children in Orangi Town after resisting a robbery.

The incident occurred in Sector 11, Rahmat Chowk, MM Colony, where two motorcycle-riding suspects arrived in haste. The victim, Sajjad Shaukat, was standing at his home’s threshold with his children when he was targeted.

Footage shows a suspect in white shalwar kameez dismounting from the motorcycle and approaching Sajjad from close range. When Sajjad attempted to resist, the assailant fired a shot. A child was reportedly in Sajjad’s arms at the moment of the attack.

Local authorities have suspended the SHO of Iqbal Market as disciplinary action. Police are reviewing the CCTV footage and have launched a manhunt for the suspects.
