The tranquility of the Bus Terminal was abruptly interrupted this Friday (29), when a man was brutally shot there. The shocking episode was recorded by a bus passenger who was in the terminal at the time. The woman managed to film the incident using her cell phone.
The incident happened in the extreme south of Bahia, in Alcobaça, and had repercussions throughout the state.
The video shows the moment in which the victim, who has not yet been identified by authorities, is approached by an armed individual and then shot. The shooter quickly fled the scene after committing the crime.
The Military Police were called and promptly arrived at the bus terminal. The area was isolated so that forensics could act. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing to identify both the victim and the shooter. The motivations for the crime are still unknown. The Civil Police ask that, if anyone has information that could assist in the investigation, please contact them through the reporting channels.
