A homeless man was stabbed to death on Tuesday night (29) in Vila Carvalho, Campo Grande. The victim, estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old, was found with seven stab wounds on Avenida Joaquim Manoel de Carvalho, near Rua Miguel Couto.

According to witnesses, the suspect—also believed to be homeless—fled the scene on a bicycle shortly after the attack. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. Residents reported hearing the victim’s cries for help and saw part of the assault take place.

Emergency teams from the Fire Department and SAMU responded, but despite their efforts, the man died at the scene.

The Civil Police are investigating the case and working to identify both the victim and the suspect.
