A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife at her workplace after she refused his demand to leave him so he could remarry. The incident took place at a fuel station in Karmad, near Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

According to police, the accused confronted his wife while she was on duty at the fuel pump. The couple had been experiencing marital disputes, with the man reportedly pressuring her to separate so he could marry another woman. When she refused, an argument ensued.

During the confrontation, the man attacked his wife with a sharp weapon, fatally injuring her at the scene. The assault occurred in the presence of staff and customers, causing panic among those nearby.

Authorities confirmed that the victim died at the scene as a result of her injuries. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the fuel station, and the footage is being reviewed as part of the investigation.
