On the morning of Friday, December 13, a traffic accident altered the tranquility of the Palos Verdes sector, in Medellín. A public service bus and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Carrera 45 with Calle 67, leaving the motorcycle driver injured.
In the video, the moment was recorded when the motorcyclist, apparently, crossed a red light, without wearing a helmet.
At that moment the bus hit the motorcyclist, who was lying on the asphalt.
Immediately after the crash, several people who witnessed the incident approached to help the motorcyclist and alert the authorities. However, so far the state of health of the victim is unknown, who was transferred to a nearby medical center for care.
This accident again generates a call for responsibility on the roads, especially to motorcyclists, who lead the statistics of road accidents in the city.
Traffic authorities emphasize the mandatory use of helmets and respect for traffic signs to prevent this type of incident.
