Two young robbers were caught stealing late this Tuesday afternoon, the 27th, and suffered a very cruel punishment, with many kicks and punches delivered by a group of very angry members of the public.
Firstly, the robbers stole a car and used it to raid the Fazendinha Community, located in the Cidade Nova neighborhood, North Zone of Manaus.
The raid came to an end near the bus terminal where the assailants were approached and subdued by a military police officer, who, despite being off duty, took action and arrested the pair.
The attack was only not more violent because the police officer managed to prevent beatings from being applied and a gas cylinder from being thrown at the criminals' heads.
A telephone call was made to call the Military Police and a team from the 6th Community Interactive Company (Cicom) went to the scene to arrest and take the robbers to the neighborhood police unit.
The car that had been stolen and used as a means of transport for criminals who claimed at least ten robbery victims was also recovered and taken to the courtyard of the 6th Integrated Police District (DIP).
