On Thursday night (1), the quiet city of Alto Paraguai, located 218 km to the mid-north of Cuiabá, was the scene of yet another act of violence that shocked the community.
Luis Fernando da Silva, just 22 years old, was brutally murdered while sitting on the doorstep of his home, in the company of a group of people.
Images captured by a security camera reveal the action of the criminals, who arrived at the scene on a red motorcycle.
Without hesitation, the attackers opened fire on Luiz and his group, leaving everyone in a state of panic.
Witnesses report that the passenger on the motorcycle disembarked and continued shooting several times, while the driver also pulled out a gun and fired three more shots at the already fallen victim.
The police were called and found Luiz Fernando lying on the sidewalk, without vital signs, at around 7:26 pm.
The crime scene was immediately isolated for Civil Police and Official Forensic procedures, with the aim of gathering evidence that could lead to the identification and arrest of those responsible for this act of extreme violence.
In addition to the brutal homicide, authorities found a portion of marijuana in the victim's possession.
The case remains under investigation.
