At least 27 people were killed and dozens more injured after a devastating fire tore through a popular bar in Bangkok's Chatuchak district, Thailand.

According to authorities, the blaze broke out late at night while the venue was crowded with patrons. Thick smoke and intense flames quickly engulfed the building, trapping many people inside as they attempted to escape.

Emergency services responded with a large-scale rescue operation, extinguishing the fire and searching the damaged premises for victims. More than 60 people were taken to hospital, several of them in critical condition.
