A horrific hit-and-run accident has taken place in Navi Mumbai's Taloja MIDC area, in which a speeding motorist ran over two people with his car. One person died on the spot while another was seriously injured in the accident. A CCTV video of the incident has also surfaced.

In this accident, 27-year-old Lalu Das died on the spot, while 44-year-old Pramila Das was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition, where she is hovering between life and death.

The Taloja police have arrested the car driver accused of hit and run and are interrogating him. A few days ago, a Skoda car similarly hit a oncoming scooter from fire, killing two young women.
