Sunil Saket, Agra: A car driver crushed a 1.25 year old girl in the parking lot of Cosmos Mall in Sanjay Place, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The driver took the girl to the hospital in his car, but he fled from the hospital gate itself. The girl died during treatment.

The family performed the last rites of the girl, but when the girl's grandfather saw the CCTV video of the parking lot, he was horrified. The girl died because of the car driver. A case has been registered against him. The police have started arresting the accused.

Jaideep, a resident of Tajganj area, is a manager in Paytm company. On Tuesday, 6th August, he went to Cosmos Mall in Sanjay Place with his wife Shivani, 10 year old son Krishab Thakur and 1.25 year old daughter Rudrika.

After shopping, at around 10:15 pm, he was putting his luggage in the car in the parking lot, when his 1.25 year old daughter Rudrika was playing. Just then, a car came from the front. It crushed the girl. Hearing the girl's scream, mother Shivani ran. Jaideep pulled out the girl Rudrika who was stuck under the car. The car driver stopped the car. He took the girl to the hospital, but he ran away from the hospital gate.

The parking of Cosmol Mall is built in the basement. Udaiveer Singh said that Rs. 100 is charged for car parking in the mall, but there is nothing in the name of security. The car driver did not see the girl playing in the parking lot. There was no guard posted to take the vehicles out of the parking lot. In the CCTV video, the car driver came from the front and crushed the girl.
