Three victims were shot: two 15-year-old teenagers and a 21-year-old man. Civil Police investigate the case as a crime similar to attempted murder.

A 17-year-old teenager was arrested after shooting three people in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, in Greater Recife, according to the Civil Police . The case occurred on Sunday night (14) and was filmed by security cameras.

According to the Military Police (PM), the shots were fired in a place known as “Viveiro”, in the Ponte dos Carvalhos neighborhood. Also according to the corporation:

Military police officers from the 18th PM Battalion were called during patrols in the early hours of this Monday (15);

One of the victims revealed to the police the name of the teenager he shot, with the help of two other people;

The teenager "was located in a house, tried to escape through a hole in the wall, but was caught with two knives, a sledgehammer, three cocaine pins and plastic packaging";

"Civil Police investigations will be able to locate the others involved and pinpoint the motivation for the crime."

Sought by g1, the Civil Police reported that they registered the case as a crime similar to attempted murder. In a note, the corporation also said that:

The shot victims were two 15-year-old teenagers and a 21-year-old man, who were taken to a health unit with an unknown name;

The apprehended teenager was taken to the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP), in the Cordeiro neighborhood, in the West Zone of Recife;

He was then sent to be heard at the Public Ministry of Pernambuco (MPPE), remaining at the disposal of the Court.

The names of the shot victims and the apprehended teenager were not released by the police in compliance with the provisions of the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA).
