A shocking incident took place today at 9:25 in the morning on the access road to the Los Portales de Nuevo Chimbote residential area, in the Los Álamos sector. The victim has been identified as Juan Pablo Lopez Ospina, 21, of Colombian nationality. The tragic event took place when Juan Pablo was traveling on a linear motorcycle, with 9040-K license plates, in the company of Uberney Siniesterra Ángulo, also 21 years old and originally from Colombia. At the time of the attack, the couple was traveling on the highway, where they were approached by two individuals of Venezuelan nationality, who recorded the crime on video. At the crime scene, Prosecutor Rodolfo Salazar Araujo and criminal experts found approximately 14 caliber 9×19 parabellum casings. After the bloody attack, the attackers quickly fled the place, heading south.
