An elderly man tragically lost his life while attempting to cross the Nuevo Campechito–Nuevo Progreso road in Ciudad del Carmen. He slipped, fell, and was struck by a vehicle. Despite bystanders’ efforts to help, he could not be saved.

Authorities arrived promptly to conduct the necessary procedures. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene.
