A young woman died and a man was seriously injured following a fall from the second floor of a billiards hall in Puerto Inca. The incident occurred in the early hours of August 4, 2025, at a venue located in the Los Callejones area.

The victim, a 21-year-old woman from Piura, succumbed instantly to her injuries. A 27-year-old man was taken to a local health center before being transferred to a hospital in Yarinacocha, where he remains in critical condition.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fall, including the structural safety of the premises and possible external factors that may have contributed to the tragedy.
