A 35-year-old Filipino tourist was fatally injured when a taxi lost control and veered onto the pavement outside the Nina Hotel in Tsuen Wan West. The collision occurred in the drop-off area, and the victim was rushed to the hospital but later pronounced dead. Authorities have arrested the 80-year-old taxi driver, who reported feeling dizzy before the incident.

The Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong is assisting the victim’s family with arrangements and offering its condolences. The driver is now in custody as investigations continue.
