CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A crash in Charlotte has claimed the life of one person early Thursday evening.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed it happened along Beatties Ford Road near Celia Avenue around 6 p.m., near the Northwest School of the Arts. Medic confirmed one patient had been declared dead by paramedics, while five other patients were evaluated for minor injuries.
One person was also taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
