Two days ago, two friends drowned while bathing in a canal in Bijnor, UP. The video of the last jump of these youths is now going viral on social media. In which it can be seen that the youths could not control themselves due to the strong current and drowned.
Adil (29 years) son of Jameel, Zeeshan (25 years) son of Rais, Salman, Arif and Danish, residents of Mohalla Nai Sarai Nai Basti of Dhampur, had come to a banquet hall in Bijnor city on Thursday morning in the marriage procession of Shadab son of Chhote. Around 5 pm, all five people left for Dhampur by car.
On reaching Jhalwa around 5:30 pm, the youths started bathing in the Baruki canal. During this time, Adil and Jameel went further ahead in the canal to bathe, while Salman and Arif started bathing at the back.
Their friend Danish remained seated in the car. During this time, due to the strong flow of water in the canal, the youths started drowning. People who came after hearing the noise saved Salman and Arif, while Adil and Zeeshan were swept away in the strong flow of water.
