A group of students were playing on the field located inside COBATAB 35, when a metal goal fell on one of the young men’s head, causing a strong blow. Immediately, the student collapsed with his head covered in blood, while his classmates and teachers tried to help him.
The accident occurred before noon on Monday, September 30. First, paramedics from Civil Protection arrived, who confirmed that the student no longer had vital signs. Then, municipal police officers arrived, who notified elements of the Tabasco Prosecutor’s Office to remove the body.
Authorities are investigating what exactly happened to make the iron goal fall on the young man. Preliminary reports mentioned that the student hung from the goal, which caused it to fall on top of him. However, it will be up to the authorities to determine what happened.
