A surveillance camera recorded the moment in which an as yet unidentified man was shot by military police, after reacting to an approach, in the early hours of this Tuesday (08), in the central region of Sidrolândia – 68 kilometers from Campo Grande.
In the image, the man appears armed with a shotgun and running shirtless along Rua São Paulo with João Márcio Ferreira Terra. At a certain point he stops and points the gun at the police, who quickly retaliate, hitting the young man.
After being hit, he was rescued and rushed to Dona Elmíria Silvério Barbosa Hospital. His health condition has not yet been released.
At around 7 am, the Campo Grande forensics team arrived at the scene, seized the shotgun and carried out the appropriate procedures.
