CHALCO, EDOMEX. On Tuesday afternoon, an armed attack left one dead and two injured at a home in the town of La Candelaria Tlapala, in the municipality of Chalco.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on Hacienda Street, at the address marked with the number 16-20B, within the Ex Hacienda de Guadalupe Housing Unit.
According to witnesses, several people were outside the home when two women and a man arrived in a Ford Fiesta. In a video captured from a window, one of the women can be seen getting out of the car and pulling out a firearm, while her two companions remain by her side.
The attackers allegedly claimed ownership of the property and, after an exchange of words, began shooting at the victims before fleeing in the vehicle.
As a result of the attack, a young man identified as Justin “N,” 19, died at the scene. Additionally, Esaú “N,” 51, and Cristian “N,” a 14-year-old boy, were injured and taken to Chalco General Hospital for medical attention.
Authorities are already investigating the case to determine the whereabouts of those responsible.
