BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore Police identified the woman killed in a Tuesday evening shooting in the City's Johnston Square neighborhood.
Police said on March 18, around 4:56 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of East Preston Street for a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, they found a 31-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim, later identified as Shy'Keema Turner, was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police announced Wednesday that detectives are reviewing newly circulated video of the incident and speaking with the involved parties.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials said they are working closely with the State's Attorney's Office on this case.
