A four-year-old girl was crushed to death after she lost her balance and fell from her cycle on seeing a car in front of her at a residential society. The incident was caught on CCTV.
A four-year-old girl died after she lost her balance and fell from her cycle and was run over by a car at a residential society in Gujarat's Mehsana.
The girl, Disha Patel, is seen on CCTV footage cycling in the compound of Sparsh Villa Society. Moments later, a car appears on the scene and makes a turn.
Seeing the car, Patel falls from the cycle as she loses her balance. But before the girl could get up, the car runs over the minor, killing her on the spot, the CCTV shows.
The driver is seen stopping at the moment after running over the girl and comes out of the vehicle to check on her.
The victim's family is shocked and stunned by the death of the minor.
Police were investigating the matter after scanning the CCTV footage.
