In a construction site in Elazığ, two young men named Murat Ateş and Yusuf Gözel lost their lives due to the overturning of a construction machine.
Images of the tragic accident in which two young men lost their lives due to the overturning of a construction machine in Elazığ have emerged. The incident occurred at a construction site in Sarı Çubuk village while work was ongoing.
According to the information obtained, Murat Ateş and Yusuf Gözel were seriously injured when the excavator used at the construction site overturned. Upon notification, 112 emergency medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial interventions at the scene, the injured were taken to the hospital.
Despite all the interventions at the hospital, the severely injured Ateş and Gözel could not be saved.
Allegedly, it was learned that while the excavator operator went to the toilet to relieve himself, the two young men climbed onto the excavator, which then overturned.
In the footage captured by the construction site’s security cameras, it was seen that one of the young men was driving the construction machine while the other was hanging on the door, and the excavator, which was moving in reverse, suddenly overturned, with the two young men trying to escape at the last moment but failing and getting trapped underneath.
