Paramedics transfer two injured people from Villas del Quetzal to the emergency room at Roosevelt Hospital.
Municipal Departmental Firefighters reported an armed attack near some soccer fields located in the Villas del Quetzal sector, Ciudad Quetzal, San Juan Sacatepéquez.
Emergency medical technicians transfer two people injured by gunshot wounds to the Roosevelt Hospital emergency room.
One person was also reported dead during the incident.
According to the images shared by the rescuers, the body was located a few centimeters from a soccer goal, and neighbors in the area approached due to the sound of the shots and the arrival of the firefighters.
So far, the rescue team has not provided any further details about the victims, such as age, sex or name.
The incident was reported to the National Civil Police (PNC), which is guarding the scene so that prosecutors from the Public Ministry can process the scene and gather evidence.
