People who were on the main street of the Jamaytepec village in Nueva Santa Rosa, Santa Rosa, detected a man attacking a woman and a girl, so they asked another passerby to defend the victims; without imagining that the latter would be murdered.
A woman, who used her cell phone to record the attack against a woman and a minor, also captured the murder of the man who interceded.
In video, a man is seen approaching a woman to throw her to the ground and attack her repeatedly. Women who were at the scene begged the men to interfere and stop the attacks.
And seconds later the man attacked a girl who was there and tried to stop the attack on the woman.
At that moment, Juan Crisóstomo Morales Martínez, 56, reached the aggressor and dealt him several blows to stop the attack against the women.
In a moment of distraction, the first man drew a firearm and seconds later shot at the man who was trying to defend the woman and the girl.
Morales Martínez died at the scene.
It is unknown if the person responsible was arrested.
