The establishment's security cameras captured the exact moment when the accident occurred. In the images, the worker can be seen opening a gate so that the truck with merchandise could leave, and that is when his arm got caught between the gate and the unit, which ended up destroyed.
Soltrack personnel passed by the scene, but none of them helped the worker, except for the driver of the vehicle, who, after lamenting what had happened, put a tourniquet on his arm.
The video of what happened was shared on social media and shows how the victim is dragged by the truck in a matter of seconds.
“Psychologically, he is in bad shape. He has two minors, one aged 7 and another aged 13. We have tried to keep everything quiet because they said that it could affect the older girl, but the video has been spread on social media ,” said the victim’s mother.
The man is currently hospitalized at the San Pablo clinic in Trujillo. His mother claims that the company has not accepted responsibility for the accident.
They also indicate that the cause of the accident was the presence of loose keys outside the company.
The National Superintendence of Labor Supervision (Sunafil) reported on the start of investigations.
"In relation to the work accident in which a security agent of the Liderman company suffered the loss of his arm, in Trujillo, Sunafil began the inspection procedures to verify the causes of the accident,".
