The video surveillance cameras of the Provincial Hospital block captured the crime of sub-inspector Leoncio Bermúdez, who was shot to death on Tuesday night at the door of the Rosario Provincial Hospital.
The crime was committed by hitmen who had entered there to look for Gabriel Lencina, a Piñero inmate who is serving a sentence of 22 years and 2 months in prison and who had been taken there for medical treatment for tuberculosis.
It is unknown, at the moment whether they were going to rescue him or kill him.
The case is investigated by prosecutor Gisela Paolicelli, who gave the first directives to the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Agency.
According to the file data, the sub-inspector was in the detachment located near the hospital with his 10-year-old daughter, who had accompanied him to work.
According to the video that emerged from the incident, the same gunman who killed the agent later targeted the detachment in which the minor was.
