A family disagreement would have triggered a homicide in the Bom Pastor neighborhood, in Chapecó. The crime occurred around 7pm. The 45-year-old victim was shot dead, according to the Military Police.
The PM reported that there was a disagreement on a public street and the suspect of committing the crime, a 36-year-old man, pulled out a firearm and fired two shots at the victim, who was hit in the chest and head.
The accused does not have police records. Also according to the PM, the dead man had convictions for possession of a sharp weapon, theft and domestic violence, with an arrest record. He died at the scene.
