A man was shot with several bullets and was seriously injured inside a grocery store on Santiago Ramírez Street in the Alfredo V. Bonfil neighborhood in the municipality of Villa de Álvarez.
According to unofficial information, the victim was shot in the skull and abdomen over extortion money.
It was reported that an armed individual arrived at the grocery store and shot the man who was behind a counter.
The victim was helped by Red Cross paramedics and transferred by code red to receive medical attention at a clinic.
The aggressor fled along a walkway and was not arrested, despite the operation implemented by police corporations in the area.
