A video circulating on social media draws attention for showing the moment a man lifted a shopping cart inside a supermarket and threw it at a woman's head. The case took place on the morning of last Thursday, 16, in Santo Antônio do Descoberto, in the Surroundings of the Federal District.

The recording was made by the internal circuit of the establishment. The woman was waiting in line when she had the cart thrown against her head. She was not seriously injured. After the attack, the man allegedly shouted: "This is for you to learn and stop chasing me."

According to the victim's husband, who asked not to be named, there was no discussion that motivated the attacker's attack. “There was no discussion or anything like that. It was purely what is in the video. They didn't exchange a single word,” he recounted.

The attacker was identified as Rogério Santos da Silva, 37 years old. He was taken to the police station, but will respond freely for minor bodily injury. The man already had passage in the police for domestic violence.
