A Delta Air Lines worker was struck by an airport ground servicing truck at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

The worker was guiding an aircraft into Gate C-36 before she was struck by the vehicle on Saturday evening.

Video of the incident shows a truck hit the woman before braking to a stop. The driver jumps out and moves toward the woman while other workers run over.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the worker on the ground bleeding from the head. She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

According to a police report, the vehicle that struck her was a Delta lavatory servicing vehicle. The driver admitted to hitting the victim while “looking down at his tablet”.

The driver was cited, Hartsfield-Jackson security took his airport badge, and Delta escorted him away from the premises.
