CALIFORNIA — A Saturday afternoon shootout in North Oakland has left three men injured.
The shooting happened at around 12:10pm on the 800 block of Apgar near West Street just two blocks from the Emeryville border.
All of the men are in their twenties, with two in critical condition and one in stable condition. 
One of the men was removed from the area by police officers who took him to nearby paramedics before he was taken to a hospital.
The other two men got their own transportation to hospitals, and one was transferred to a second hospital where he underwent surgery.
Police believed the suspect or suspects were still in the area and actively searched for them for several hours.
A motive for the shooting has not been released.
