A man was seriously injured after being attacked by a stray bull in the city of Veraval, in the Indian state of Gujarat. The incident, which was captured on CCTV, has raised fresh concerns over the dangers posed by stray animals in urban areas.

According to reports, the victim was riding his two-wheeler along a street when the bull suddenly charged at him, knocking both the man and the vehicle to the ground. The animal then continued to attack the victim as he attempted to defend himself.

The assault persisted until the man, weakened by the attack, collapsed on the road. Local residents quickly intervened, throwing stones and using sticks in an effort to drive the bull away and rescue the injured individual.

The bull was eventually forced away, allowing bystanders to move the victim to safety. He sustained serious injuries to his head, chest, and limbs and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
