Man runs over neighbors after land dispute in Puebla - Mexico
Uploaded On:Wednesday 18th of June 2025

The Villas El León neighborhood in San Juan Tianguismanalco, Puebla, was gripped by panic on Monday, June 16, after two women were reportedly run over during a violent confrontation linked to a long-standing land dispute. The suspect fled the scene while allegedly firing shots into the air.

According to local residents, the incident took place near the border with Atlixco — an area they claim has seen repeated conflicts without adequate response from authorities.

Relatives of the victims stated that tensions with their neighbors, identified as Alfredo and José Luis Huerta Hernández, began in July 2024. They allege months of harassment aimed at taking over their land, culminating in Monday’s violent escalation.

A video circulating on social media shows a brawl involving several men, which quickly spiraled out of control. Although gunshots were reportedly heard during the altercation, authorities later confirmed that the victims did not suffer gunshot wounds.
