In the middle of the state of emergency. Two workers of the Camila poultry house, in the Agustino, were brutally attacked by a hooded guy who did not hesitate to shoot them several times.
A hooded subject entered the Camila poultry house, in the Lima district of El Agustino, and shot mercilessly at two waitresses of the establishment. The attack occurred a few days after the announcement of the state of emergency in Lima and Callao, leaving both workers seriously injured. Currently, they are fighting for their lives at the Hipólito Unanue Hospital.
The violent event occurred around 7 pm, when a man dressed completely in black and with his face covered broke into the poultry house. Security cameras recorded the brutal attack, showing the moment when one of the victims, who was sitting at a table, was attacked at close range.
The most alarming thing about the video is that, next to the waitress, there was a girl of about 8 years old. Fortunately, the youngest was lying on two chairs and managed to get out unharmed.
The attacker was not in a hurry in his action: after shooting the worker who was inside the kitchen, he returned to the living room to attack the other waitress again, who was already seriously injured. After perpetrating the attack, the criminal fled the place, leaving the women lying on the ground, in critical condition.
Despite the severity of the attack, both women managed to survive and were immediately transferred by Serenazgo personnel to the Hipólito Unanue Hospital. As the hours went by, it was confirmed that his condition is stable.
It was also learned that the victims were young Venezuelan nationality and that the owners of the restaurant denied being victims of extortion.
For this reason, the first police hypotheses indicate that the crime would not be related to extortionists, but could be a settling of accounts. The speed and determination of the criminal reinforce this theory, since his only objective was the two workers.
The authorities analyze the images of the security cameras to identify the attacker and find his whereabouts. Agents of the National Police of Peru (PNP) are already on the trail of the gunman and possible accomplices.
In this way, the attack on the Camila pollry has generated great commotion in the district. The violent act again highlights the growing insecurity in the capital, even in the middle of the commercial area and at times of great public influx.
