Victim was rescued by Samu, but did not resist the injury and died in the hospital. Case was registered in Araguaína, northern region of Tocantins.

A 24-year-old young man died after being stabbed during a fight in the Patrocínio sector, in Araguaína, northern region of the state. He was identified as Daniel Henrique Rodrigues da Silva. According to the police, the victim was rescued, but did not resist the injury and died at the Araguaína Regional Hospital.

The case happened in the early hours of this Sunday (19), around 1:10 am. The Military Police reported that Daniel was accompanied by his 27-year-old brother and two women. They were in a car, driven by their brother. At one point, when they were passing near a square where a party was taking place, someone hit the vehicle's glass.

According to the PM, Daniel would have gotten out of the car and asked who would have been the person who hit the glass. Soon after, the victim and a man started an argument and then got into a body fight. At that moment, the suspect would have taken a pocket knife and hit Daniel's leg. The injury was deep and caused a lot of blood loss, according to the police.

The victim's brother would have tried to break up the fight, but was hit and injured in two fingers of his right hand. The suspect fled the scene. The military searched the region, but did not find him.

The Military Police also reported that Daniel and his brother were rescued by the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) team, and taken to the HRA. The brother was discharged, but the victim who was admitted in serious condition, did not resist and died.

The victim's body was taken to the Forensic Medical Institute of Araguaína, where he undergoes necropsy tests and should be released to family members. According to the Secretariat of Public Security, the 2nd Division of Homicide and Protection of the Person of Araguaína has already started investigations to try to identify the suspect.
