Berlin. A man opened fire at the Forum Köpenick in Berlin on Wednesday afternoon and seriously injured another man.

According to reports, several shots were fired at a Turkish snack bar on Bahnhofstrasse around 11 a.m. Berlin police told MAZ that one person was injured.

The perpetrator also fired a shot at another snack bar on the opposite side of Bahnhofstrasse in front of the shopping center, "but without hitting anyone," said Berlin police spokesman Florian Nath. The man then fled the scene. The perpetrator is still on the run.

The MAZ has a surveillance video from the snack bar. It shows a man wearing black clothing and a hood. He stops in front of the snack bar and pulls out a gun. It doesn't seem to work.

Then he apparently pulls out a second pistol and fires several shots through the window at a man in the snack bar who is at work. The shooter doesn't bat an eyelid during the attack - several passers-by walk past him shortly before the attack. The shots apparently come as a surprise to the employee in the snack bar; he is apparently hit in the upper body and collapses.
