A frustrated robbery at a cell phone store in the Uvaranas region, in Ponta Grossa, resulted in a robber being shot on Thursday afternoon (13). The establishment's security cameras recorded the exact moment the criminal entered the store, announced the robbery and was shot by the owner.

The incident occurred at around 2:35 pm on Rua Pereira Passos. According to preliminary information, the robber, a 23-year-old young man, entered the store armed and announced a robbery. The owner of the establishment, also armed, reacted quickly and fired around five shots at the criminal. The shots hit the robber, who was left in a very serious condition.

Emergency teams, including the Fire Department, Siate and Samu, were called immediately to provide assistance to the victim. The Military Police and the Riot Police also attended the scene to ensure security and begin investigations.

The police team was called to respond to a robbery involving gunshots. At the scene, the victim, the store owner, reported that when confronted by the armed robber, he reacted using his private weapon, 9 mm, and fired shots. The robber was hit and, shortly after, he was treated and taken to the Regional Hospital.

Witnesses at the scene mentioned that the robber arrived at the establishment with a motorcycle, which was found parked nearby. The Scientific Police arrived to carry out the investigation. The store owner, aged 29, was taken to the 13th SDP along with the motorcycle and the seized objects for legal proceedings.

The robber's health condition remains critical, and he remains in police custody. The Military Police continue to investigate the case to clarify all the details of what happened.
