A 26-year-old man, suspected of involvement in drug trafficking, was arrested after trying to escape police officers by jumping from an apartment.

The case was registered on Sunday night (12), in the center of Marechal Floriano, in the Serrana region of Espírito Santo.

According to the Military Police, as he fled, the man jumped from the building and fell onto a company vehicle.

Police officers reported that they received information that a man was transporting drugs in the region.

Upon arriving at the scene, they first approached a 17-year-old teenager and found two cocaine sticks with him, which he claimed would be delivered to another buyer.

At that moment, the police reported that they heard a lot of movement and, when they looked through the window of the building, the soldiers saw two men jumping from an apartment into the street. It was not known how many jumped from the property.

One of the men fled, but the other, 26 years old, ended up falling on top of the police car and, injured, ended up being detained. In this attempt to escape, the suspects threw a bag containing drugs out of the apartment window and the contents were seized by the police.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and took the suspect who fell in the vehicle to Dr. Arthur Gerhardt Hospital, in Domingos Martins. There are no reports on his health status.
