A 48-year-old man broke into a snack bar and ran over the couple who were inside the establishment. The accident happened on Sunday afternoon (17).

The SSP (Public Security Secretariat) reported that the collision occurred in the Jardim São Paulo neighborhood. The images show when the driver invades the place with the car, breaking the glass door and running over the couple at high speed.

Still according to the SSP, the driver showed signs of intoxication and was subjected to a breathalyzer test, the result of which was positive. He was taken to the city police station, where the case was registered as drunk driving.

No information was released about the health status of the victims.
