Uploaded On:Saturday 9th of December 2023

On December 6, two groups of tourists – residents of the Perm Territory, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan and Khakassia – left the village of Priiskovoe on snowmobiles for the taiga.

At the agreed time, they did not return to the base and did not get in touch.

An employee of the guest house reported the disappearance to the police. According to the Investigative Committee for Khakassia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as a result of searches with the participation of volunteers, specialists from the South Siberian search and rescue team and the operational group of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, the whereabouts of 24 tourists were established, 2 tourists from different groups were found without signs of life.

This is a 26-year-old guide from Khakassia, who went to look for a way to the base, got caught in a snowstorm and could not return, and a 35-year-old tourist from Tatarstan.

Presumably, the latter’s health condition deteriorated sharply and he died.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact. The bodies of the dead tourists were brought to the base. A forensic examination will be scheduled soon.
