A toddler was crushed to death by a car which was driven by his grandfather as he tried to park the vehicle in front of their house in Kerala's Kasaragod district.

The incident occurred on November 10 when the toddler's grandfather accidentally ran over him while making a turn.

In the CCTV footage obtained from their residence, the toddler is seen standing in front of the car while another child who is slightly older, clears the way for the car in the back. After realising what happened, the older child rushed to retrieve the toddler from under the vehicle.

The grandfather also stepped out and took the toddler in his arms as another man came rushing to help.
