The Israel Defence Force (IDF) released raw GoPro video of an armed resistance fighters ambushing an Israeli checkpoint and attacking Israelis with their assault rifles before being gunned down by the security forces.

Video of the assault shows several gunmen on bikes and pick-up trucks carrying RPGs and AK47s heading towards the Gaza-Israel border wall.

The operatives in a squad formation crossed the border fencing to enter Israel and ambushed Israeli forces with RPGs and assault rifles.

They then moved to a civilian area and went on a shooting spree, aiming at houses and killing an Israeli who was in the house.

The ambush by the group ended with his death after Israeli security forces counter-attacked and shot him dead from a concealed place his last words were: "I bear witness that there is no deity but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God".
