In a shocking incident that shook Turkey, a groom in Diyarbakır was subjected to gunfire during his wedding ceremony. The accused, Salah A, suddenly opened fire on the groom, Ahmed E, as he entered the wedding hall, hitting him with several bullets. Another individual was injured by a shrapnel in his leg. Police teams rushed to the scene, while the groom was immediately taken to the hospital by his relatives. His injuries were found to be severe and life-threatening. The suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended by authorities.

Surveillance cameras captured the horrifying moments experienced by the attendees during the audacious crime in Diyarbakır, eastern Turkey. The attendees rushed to aid the injured groom and the young boy on a distressing and tragic night. Five hours after his escape, Turkish police managed to arrest the assailant, who was found at a friend’s house. The weapon used in the attack was confiscated.

The motive behind the crime was revealed to be Salah’s resentment over the groom’s marriage. Salah had also wanted to marry the same bride and had been rejected when he proposed to her about a year ago.

The dispute escalated to the point where security forces, the military, and air support had to intervene. The governor also arrived to restore peace and security in the area. The brawl resulted in the death of 9 individuals, with several others injured. The dispute centered around 200 acres of wheat land, some of which belonged to the state treasury. Following the intervention of Turkish forces, an investigation was launched, and several individuals involved in the incident were imprisoned. Numerous weapons were also confiscated.
