A young man of just 17 years old, identified as Danilo, was the victim of a violent murder on Wednesday night (09/08) in Teresina. The crime took place in front of his residence in the residential Betinho, around 20:25 in the south zone of the city. According to preliminary information, two suspects on a motorcycle approached Danilo, a woman and a child, announcing a robbery. After stealing the victims' cell phones, the criminals fled the scene. However, to everyone's surprise and horror, they turned on Danilo and fired four shots directly into his head. Police quickly arrived on the scene and cordoned off the area for investigation. Experts from the Scientific Technical Police were called in to collect evidence and clarify the details of the crime. The Legal Medical Institute was also present to remove the victim's body. The case is being treated as a possible robbery (robbery followed by death), due to the theft of cell phones that occurred moments before the murder. However, the brutal nature of the headshots raises concerns about the possibility that this was a premeditated execution. The Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP) has taken over the investigation of the case and is working to identify the suspects involved in the crime. To date, no arrests have been made. Danilo's tragic murder left the local community in shock. Friends and family gathered outside his home to pay their respects and call for justice. The police appeal to the population, requesting that any information that may help in solving the case be reported to the competent authorities.
